| Snow load canopies are similar to other steel frame structures but include an extra heavy-duty cover for harsh environmental conditions. Made with galvanized steel tubing and connectors, portable garages made for snow are supported by a 1-5/8" skeleton and include temporary anchors for ultimate stability. Each snow load canopy is designed with either a high pitch or dome shape, which easily sheds away build up to help distribute weight and prevent collapse. The 10 oz. poly cover is made with heat-welded seams and a fabric backed UV interior for year round protection. Waterproof and mildew resistant, our portable shelters are great for automobiles and the temporary storage of equipment and recreational vehicles such as boats, ATV's and RV's. Most other manufacturers powder coat their steel, which is basically a cheap way to cover black raw pipe and make it appear galvanized. Powder coating, once chipped or scratched, may rust within 24 to 48 hours. Our frames are also pre-drilled and are assembled with eyebolts so that there are no power tools required during assembly. Average installation time on the one car garage is 2 hours with two people the first time setting it up. We make two styles, house and round. Both styles are designed with heavy duty, galvanized steel frames to withstand snow and high winds. The snow load canopy features rip stop technology for all included covers. In addition, our instant garages have a special layer in between the outer and inner layers called an Inner Black Scrim. The Inner Black Scrim has a coating that blocks 100% sunlight from penetrating through the material. The UV rays from the sun are very harmful to the material and the Inner Black Scrim helps to extend the life of our snow load covers beyond those of our competitors! Along with protecting the cover, this also provides for cooler temperatures inside the portable shelter during the warmer months of the year. |
