  1. When choosing a containment liner for a pond or any other application, it is important to obtain an accurate measurement of the containment area.  Measure the area within the containment location at the widest width, longest length and deepest depth. Please refer to the below diagram as a measurement guide.

  2. When building a containment area it is important to include an anchor trench that is no less than 12 inches wide and 12” deep. The anchor trench is used to prevent the liner from slipping down the slope grade.

  3. Fabrics, including polyethylene liners, have a certain degree of expansion and contraction due to the change in seasonal temperatures. This fact must be considered when installing the liner. Be sure to allow for some ripples throughout the liner when placing it on the containment floor. The colder the environment, the more ripples that are needed. Installing a liner without accounting for expansion and contraction, can lead to liner failure. Add at least 2-3” to your final measurement to allow for ripples on the liner install.

"Thanks a million, my grandson opened the
box and right away we had to go outside and
put it on the frame. Then we sat under the
canopy and drank some beer and ate all of the
Tamales that my son-in-law cooked. Thanks again,
and we will be ordering more stuff."
